Job Description

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Nephrology / Kidney Care 2HT Kidney Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing nephrology practice.

We are looking for a motivated provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with kidney disease and enjoys working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Position Highlights Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications 4 days per week in the office , (monday

  • thursday)providing comprehensive care to nephrology patients 2 days per week at the dialysis center , (monday and tuesday)seeing patients before and after their dialysis clinic Once a month clinic is held at our Watseka office on a Wednesday
  • must be able to travel to watseka once a month Full-time position Established nephrology practice Opportunity to build strong, ongoing relationships with patients Collaborative and supportive clinical environment Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with kidney disease and related conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Manage chronic kidney disease, hypertension, fluid and electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions Provide patient education regarding kidney health, medications, diet, and treatment plans Evaluate and manage patients receiving dialysis Conduct patient visits before and after dialysis clinic Review laboratory results, medications, and treatment plans Communicate effectively with physicians, dialysis staff, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Provide compassionate, patient-centered care Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice APRN certification and national board certification Prescriptive authority as required by state law Experience in nephrology, dialysis, internal medicine, or a related specialty preferred New graduates with strong clinical training and an interest in nephrology may be considered Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team Schedule Full-Time 4 days per week: Office-based nephrology patient visits (monday•thursday) 2 days per week: Dialysis center patient visits, including before and after clinic (monday•tuesday) The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
