Family Nurse Practitioner Vitality Urgent Care is hiring a full time / part time Family Nurse Practitioner for our Buffalo Grove, Illinois urgent care clinic. We are seeking an FNP who is comfortable independently evaluating and treating adult and pediatric patients in a fast paced urgent care setting. Compensation & Schedule $70-$80 per hour, based on experience 7 shifts per 2-week pay period (~38 hours/week average): Week 1: three 12-hour shifts (8:00am-8:00pm) Week 2: two 12-hour shifts (8:00am-8:00pm) plus two weekend 8-hour shifts (8:00am-4:00pm) Rotating weekends Consistent, predictable schedule set in advance No on call What You'll Do Evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a walk-in urgent care setting Perform urgent care procedures: laceration repair, incision & drainage, splinting, foreign body removal Order and interpret on-site X-rays, labs, and point-of-care testing Perform school, sports, camp, and employment physicals Conduct occupational medicine visits (workers' comp, drug screens); DOT physicals a plus (we'll support NRCME certification) Document in our EMR (Experity) and complete charts same-day Collaborate with our provider team on protocols and quality improvement Must-Haves — please apply only if you meet these Active Illinois APRN license (FNP) or PA license, in good standing Board certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA) BLS certification Comfortable working independently with physician collaboration available Nice-to-Haves Urgent care procedural experience (suturing, splinting, I&D) 1-2 years post-graduation experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care seeing patients of all ages NRCME certification (DOT medical examiner) Occupational medicine experience Why Join Vitality Urgent Care Modern clinic with digital X-ray, teleradiology support, on-site lab, and rapid point-of-care testing Efficient workflow with AI-assisted charting to reduce documentation time No call schedule Adult and pediatric urgent care visits Opportunity to grow urgent care and procedural skills Supportive clinical team
