POSITION SUMMARY
Little Company of Mary Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Interventional Radiology APP to join its advanced imaging and procedural team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment supporting a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The APP will partner closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
JOB SPECIFICS
Conduct detailed patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and risk assessments Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care and patient education Assist in and perform image-guided procedures including: Central line placements Paracentesis and thoracentesis Biopsies and drain placements Vascular access procedures General Biopsies Lumbar puncture Monitor patients during procedures and manage complications when necessary Interpret lab results and imaging findings in collaboration with radiologists Develop and execute individualized treatment plans Document care thoroughly in the EMR Communicate effectively with referring providers, nursing staff, and specialists
