In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of clinical settings, utilizing your expertise to perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and healthcare teams. Prescribe medications and treatments following HIPAA guidelines and DEA regulations while maintaining accurate documentation within EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner. Perform advanced procedures including suturing, PAP smears, skin tag removals Manage acute and chronic conditions Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care; engage in discharge planning, case management, and utilization review as needed. Skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for seamless medical documentation and records management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding for procedures and ICD coding for diagnoses (ICD-9/10). Experience working with diverse patient populations Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations; Excellent client communication skills with a focus on health coaching and patient education; capable of managing complex cases involving acute pain management or occupational health issues. Ability to adhere strictly to HIPAA standards while handling sensitive medical records; experienced in medical imaging interpretation and specimen collection/processing.
