Job Description
Broadway Medical Center is seeking an energetic, independently driven Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing outpatient practice. Serving patients across the western suburbs of Chicago, this full-time role will be based at one of our two well-established clinics in Melrose Park and Bellwood. New Graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Job Purpose:
Promotes and maintains health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Responsibilities & Duties:
Key Responsibilities As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with our supervising physicians to deliver high-quality, continuous patient care.Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive primary care, including performing physical examinations, obtaining detailed medical histories, and diagnosing acute and chronic conditions.Diagnostics:
Order, perform, and accurately interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies.Treatment & Planning:
Develop and implement effective, evidence-based patient management and treatment plans.Patient Education:
Counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, preventative wellness, family planning, and healthy lifestyle maintenance.Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough charting in patient and department medical records.Compliance & Safety:
Uphold the highest standards of safety by adhering to infection-control protocols and all federal, state, and local legal requirements. Qualifications & Skills Active, unencumbered license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois. Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program (New grads welcome!). Strong clinical foundation with a thorough understanding of physiological knowledge, pain management, and safe medication administration. Excellent bedside manner with a compassionate, patient-first approach. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a medical team. Commitment to continuous self-development and remaining current with medical guidelines and professional publications.Job Types:
