Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. The NP will provide high-quality evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common medical conditions. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute and non-emergent conditions. Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations. Diagnose illnesses and injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications and provide patient education. Perform or assist with procedures appropriate to urgent care practice. Provide follow-up recommendations and referrals when indicated. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals. Provide compassionate, efficient, and patient-centered care. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [State]. Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or appropriate specialty). Current DEA registration and applicable prescriptive authority. Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred. Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or family practice experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
