Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urgent Care to join our dedicated healthcare team. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements while adhering to HIPAA and DEA regulations. Perform procedures including suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques to stabilize patients effectively. Manage triage processes by prioritizing patient care based on severity, ensuring timely intervention for critical cases such as trauma or infectious disease outbreaks. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) in eCw, maintaining compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care. Proven experience working in urgent care settings or emergency rooms with proficiency in acute pain management and trauma care. Strong clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, injection administration, and airway management. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as eCw for efficient documentation and patient tracking. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, CPT coding for procedures, and utilization review processes. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations confidently.
