Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Midwest Urological Group, located in Peoria, IL. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating urological conditions, creating customized care plans, conducting medical consultations and follow-ups, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position also involves educating patients about preventive care and available treatment options, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and high-quality care. Qualifications Strong diagnostic and clinical skills for identifying and managing urological conditions Effective communication skills to explain medical concepts to patients and collaborate with team members Proficiency in creating care plans and conducting detailed patient consultations Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and patient confidentiality Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner License and a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) OR Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Experience working in urology or a related medical specialty is a plus
