SCHEDULE
- The work schedule is structured for Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, with an additional commitment for one weekend of in-house rounding per month.
PATIENT POPULATION MIX
- The clinical setting serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with coverage for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
AVERAGE CASELOAD
- Expect to manage approximately 12-15 inpatient cases per day during rounding.
SUPPORT STAFF
- Registered Nurses (RNs) will assist with discharge communication from the clinic, with additional hospital RN support as needed.
SHIFT DESCRIPTION
- This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
PATIENT POPULATION MIX
- Experience with various demographics, including a focus on adolescents, adults, geriatrics, Medicare, and Medicaid, is essential.
STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
- Candidates must hold an active Illinois state license.
MANDATED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - either Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required. Candidates must already be actively licensed in Illinois.
AVAILABILITY
- Local candidates are strongly preferred.
BACKGROUND CHECKS
- A clean and clear background is highly preferred.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Active licensure in Illinois is mandatory.
