  • SCHEDULE
  • The work schedule is structured for Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, with an additional commitment for one weekend of in-house rounding per month.
  • PATIENT POPULATION MIX
  • The clinical setting serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with coverage for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
  • AVERAGE CASELOAD
  • Expect to manage approximately 12-15 inpatient cases per day during rounding.
  • SUPPORT STAFF
  • Registered Nurses (RNs) will assist with discharge communication from the clinic, with additional hospital RN support as needed.
  • SHIFT DESCRIPTION
  • This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30.
  • CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • PATIENT POPULATION MIX
  • Experience with various demographics, including a focus on adolescents, adults, geriatrics, Medicare, and Medicaid, is essential.
  • STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
  • Candidates must hold an active Illinois state license.
  • MANDATED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - either Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required. Candidates must already be actively licensed in Illinois.
  • AVAILABILITY
  • Local candidates are strongly preferred.
  • BACKGROUND CHECKS
  • A clean and clear background is highly preferred.
  • LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
  • Active licensure in Illinois is mandatory.
