We provide comprehensive primary care alongside services such as advanced diagnostic testing, IV therapy, vitamin therapy, metabolic and weight management, men's and women's health, hormone services, allergy care, and other wellness services. Our goal is to provide personalized care that considers not only a patient's immediate medical concerns, but also their overall health, lifestyle, prevention, and long-term wellness . We are a growing, patient-centered practice looking for an APNP/NP who shares this philosophy. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP) to join our primary care team. The ideal candidate is a confident clinician with strong primary-care skills who enjoys building relationships with patients and is open to preventive, integrative, and complementary approaches to healthcare . You do not need to be an expert in every integrative service we offer. We are looking for someone with solid clinical knowledge, good judgment, and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with our physicians and healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who wants to practice primary care in a setting that looks beyond conventional treatment alone when appropriate. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and health assessments. Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's medical needs and health goals. Prescribe and manage medications within the scope of practice and applicable Illinois regulations. Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and chronic disease management. Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing. Utilize available in-house diagnostic services when appropriate, including blood testing, EKG, ultrasound, and other testing. Provide men's and women's primary healthcare and appropriate preventive screenings. Evaluate patients' overall health and identify opportunities for lifestyle, nutrition, and preventive interventions. Provide appropriate in-office treatments and procedures within the provider's scope of practice and training. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when specialty services are needed. Educate patients about their conditions, medications, treatment options, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow HIPAA, clinical documentation, coding, and applicable Illinois healthcare requirements. Participate in a collaborative practice environment where conventional and integrative approaches to patient care are both valued. Our APNP/NP does not need to perform every specialized service offered by the practice. Specialized services are supported by other members of our healthcare team. What matters most is that you are clinically strong, patient-focused, open-minded, and interested in expanding your understanding of integrative and preventive healthcare. Preferred Qualifications Active Illinois APRN/NP license and national certification. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification preferred. Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or a similar clinical setting preferred. Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions. Strong interest in preventive and whole-person healthcare. Open to complementary, integrative, and more natural approaches to health. Interest or experience in nutrition, metabolic health, wellness, or lifestyle medicine is a plus. Experience with electronic medical records; Practice Fusion experience is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
