Opportunity for Family Medicine APP in the Beautiful Kansas Flint Hills Our partner, a 21 bed critical access hospital in the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN) to continue providing high quality, primary care to the people of their county. They are seeking a compassionate and driven APP to continue to support and advance this legacy of caring. Highlights 4 days a week, 9 hour days Competitive salary Collaboration with RHC supervising physician Benefits Benefits package including health/dental/vision; retirement Paid Time Off, including holidays Qualifications Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant or an accredited APRN Nurse Practitioner program Currently or eligible to be licensed by the State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts or Kansas State Board of Nursing Open to recent graduates seeking mentoring and guidance 2+ years of experience in primary care, urgent care, and emergency preferred Have a heart for patient-centered care in rural communities About KRRC The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation. Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities. About the facility Our hospital-employed position is part of a recently acquired independent practice that now consists of three advanced practice providers and four physicians. The team covers four Rural Health Clinics and a Critical Access Hospital, with an active OB Program.
