Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | Mission-Driven FQHC | Great Work-Life Balance Our partner in South Central Kansas is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their team of compassionate providers. Providers work alongside behavioral health and nursing team members to manage patients' health and motivate lifestyle changes to optimize health while basing patient care on evidence-based practices within clinic protocols. Previous clinical experience required. About KRRC The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation. Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities. About the facility Our partner in South Central Kansas is a high-functioning, mission-focused Community Health Center committed to serving all patients regardless of ability to pay. Their three main service lines are medical, behavioral health and dental, plus an extensive array of ancillary clinical services such as Pharmacy, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging. Other assistive services may include transportation, on-site Spanish interpreters, and patient ambassadors. They offer a close-knit, compassionate team that collaborates to deliver high-quality healthcare to patients.
