The Psychiatric Mental Health Advance Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Collaborates with a team of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals in a primary care setting. Evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical therapeutics. Works under supervision of a physician.

Qualifications include:

Post-graduate degree, APP licensure, BLS, ACLS, with no prior experience required.

Skills required:

Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, analytical, computer proficiency, and reading/comprehension skills.

Mental/emotional demands:

Managing stress, making decisions under pressure, handling multiple priorities, and working independently in various environments.

Working conditions:

Exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, and computer monitors.

Physical requirements:

Medium work involving prolonged sitting, standing, walking, manual dexterity, good vision, and the ability to handle physical exertion up to 50 lbs.
