Job Description

We have Part Time positions available We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding team. This role is designed for a seasoned clinician who is ready to make a meaningful impact across a diverse patient population and a wide range of psychiatric conditions. As an Experienced PMHNP, you will operate while being supported by a collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. As an integral part of our behavioral health team, you will:
  • Deliver care in SNF, and Hospital settings as applicable to assigned role
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with an interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with facility staff on behavioral strategies and care planning
  • Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Make treatment recommendations for psychotherapeutic interventions and medications Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the State of Alabama
  • Active PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
  • Required Minimum 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience
  • Active DEA registration
  • Experience in hospital, SNF, ALF, or multi-site settings strongly preferred
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
  • Passion for patient-centered care in long-term or geriatric settings
  • A commitment to delivering care with compassion, ethics, and integrity
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
