Job Description

Premier Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing, physician-led practice. We are looking for a motivated clinician with Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or other acute care experience who is comfortable independently evaluating and managing moderate-acuity patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our providers care for a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions and injuries while utilizing advanced diagnostic capabilities, including an on-site CT scanner , digital X-ray , and a comprehensive in-house laboratory . This position offers extensive opportunities to expand your diagnostic and procedural skills through direct physician collaboration and mentorship. Providers interested in advancing their expertise in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) , musculoskeletal injuries, laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and other office-based procedures will find an exceptional learning environment. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries. Independently manage moderate-acuity urgent care patients. Order, interpret, and integrate laboratory and imaging studies into clinical decision-making. Perform office-based procedures appropriate to your training and experience. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide efficient, compassionate, evidence-based care. Accurately document patient encounters using our electronic medical record. Preferred Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for Louisiana licensure). Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Hospital Medicine, or other acute care experience preferred. Comfortable evaluating and managing moderate-acuity patients. $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
