C&P Nurse Practitioner for Veteran Evaluations - Hammond, Louisiana Overview We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. Veterans in Hammond, Louisiana. This clinic-based role is focused on structured medical assessments and documentation rather than treatment or ongoing patient management. As a C&P Nurse Practitioner for Veteran Evaluations - Hammond, Louisiana , you'll work a consistent three-day schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You'll review medical histories, conduct in-person physical assessments, and document objective findings that support the VA disability claims process. This is an assessment-only role with no prescribing, treatment, ongoing patient management, call, nights, or weekends. The set weekly schedule provides consistency while maintaining the flexibility of a part-time clinical position.

Compensation:
$525 per day C&P Nurse Practitioner for Veteran Evaluations Responsibilities Conduct in-person VA Compensation & Pension examinations. Review service treatment records, medical histories, and claim-related documentation. Perform structured physical assessments within established examination protocols. Complete required Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Document objective clinical findings using a secure web-based platform. Submit completed examination records within required timelines. Maintain clear, accurate, and thorough documentation. Work with clinic and support staff to maintain an efficient examination workflow. This is an evaluation-only role. There is no prescribing, treatment, ongoing patient management, or follow-up care. Qualifications Required Active Nurse Practitioner license required. Ability to work onsite in Hammond, Louisiana. Ability to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
