This provider will work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and support teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered urologic care in an outpatient setting. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly graduated APP who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while practicing within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Opportunity Highlights Monday through Friday schedule Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital coverage, and surgical assistance Work closely with physicians across a broad range of urologic conditions and procedures Established urology practice with a strong referral network Collaborative team of physicians, APPs, and experienced clinical staff Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package CME allowance and professional development opportunities EPIC electronic medical record system Supportive physician leadership and administrative team Position Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and conduct physical examinations Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions under established protocols and collaborative agreements Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Respond promptly to patient calls, messages, and clinical concerns Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Coordinate patient care and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings Promote patient safety and adherence to infection prevention standards Demonstrate professional leadership and commitment to LCMC Health's mission and values Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Candidates Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license Current Louisiana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Physician Assistant Candidates Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Louisiana Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications Prior urology, surgical, primary care, or specialty clinic experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
