Position Overview Alpha Health Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and delivering comprehensive care across a wide range of medical conditions. The position combines traditional primary care responsibilities with exposure to behavioral health, allowing providers to develop skills in managing common mental health conditions that frequently present in the primary care setting. The Family Nurse Practitioner will conduct patient evaluations, manage acute and chronic conditions, perform disability and veterans-related evaluations, coordinate care, and provide ongoing treatment and follow-up services. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan. Order, interpret, and review laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness in accordance with state regulations. Conduct disability, functional capacity, and veterans-related evaluations as assigned. Manage common behavioral health conditions encountered in primary care, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and sleep-related concerns. Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with specialists when appropriate. Provide patient education focused on disease prevention, health promotion, and medication adherence. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
