Dually reporting to the Collaborating Physician and the Administrative Director, the licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up under the direction of one or more physicians in the clinic or inpatient setting. The NP performs age and specialty appropriate physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. As an expert professional, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. We are looking for a motivated clinician with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The successful candidate will work closely with endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, certified diabetes educators, and clinical pharmacists to deliver comprehensive endocrine care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care at the BMC Brighton Endocrinology Clinic, with a focus on diabetes care. Provide inpatient endocrinology consultation coverage at BMC Brighton. Collaborate with referring providers, on-site pharmacists, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality care for patients with endocrine disorders. Utilize and support emerging diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems and insulin delivery technologies. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
