Job Description
Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner for our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality pediatric primary and acute care, performing assessments, diagnosing, prescribing, and care planning for diverse patient populations. Working within a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team, you'll use state-of-the-art facilities to advance safety, quality, and clinical innovation while educating and supporting patients and families. Opportunities for research participation, quality improvement, and professional growth are integral to this role. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and acute care to children and adolescents. Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care. Document all care accurately in electronic health records and maintain regulatory compliance. Participate in quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives. Engage in continuing education and support research and innovation in pediatric care.
