Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)Fall River, MA | Full-Time or Part-Time | ~$70/hourA well-established outpatient practice in the Fall River, Massachusetts area is adding two Primary Care APP opportunities. These positions offer a predictable four-day schedule, strong clinical support, and no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Two Opportunities AvailablePosition 1 - Portuguese-Speaking APP
- Work alongside an experienced primary care physician
- Portuguese fluency is required for this opening
- Patient population includes adults and adolescents age 12+
- Ideal for an APP who can communicate comfortably with Portuguese-speaking patients and familiesPosition 2 - Primary Care APP
- Portuguese language skills are not required
- Open to qualified NP or PA candidates regardless of language background
- Same supportive outpatient environment and four-day scheduleCompensation & Schedule
- Approximately $70/hour
Full-time:
36-40 hours per week- Four-day workweek
Part-time:
2-3 days per week may be considered- 36-hour schedule: four 9-hour days
- 40-hour schedule: four 10-hour days
- Patient appointments generally begin around 7:30 AM and run until approximately 3:00 PM
- Additional time is provided for documentation and patient follow-up
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No on-call coverageClinical ResponsibilitiesThe APP will provide outpatient primary care to adolescent and adult patients, beginning at age 12.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing patient evaluations
- Diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions
- Managing medications
- Providing follow-up care
- Patient education and counseling
- Coordinating referrals when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionalsNo procedures are required for this position.
- Current or eligible Massachusetts NP or PA license
- Appropriate prescribing credentials
- Primary care/outpatient experience preferred
- Comfortable treating patients age 12+
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other providersFor the Portuguese-speaking opening: Portuguese fluency is required.
