Per Diem Wound Care Advanced Practice Provider Fairview Hospital | Berkshire Health Systems Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide per diem coverage in the outpatient Wound Clinic at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Fairview Hospital is a critical access hospital serving the Southern Berkshire community as part of Berkshire Health Systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP interested in supplementing an existing position with a few weekday shifts each month while providing meaningful, specialized care in a collaborative community-hospital setting. Position Highlights Per diem opportunity covering a few shifts per month Weekday schedule within a clinic that operates five days per week Fully outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibilities Manage approximately 12-18 patient visits per day Supportive and collaborative clinical environment Opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with patients managing acute and chronic wounds Work within an integrated health system with access to additional clinical resources Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of wound-care needs Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans Provide patient education and appropriate follow-up care Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other members of the patient's care team Coordinate additional services or referrals when appropriate Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts Previous experience in wound care, surgery or a related clinical specialty is preferred Candidates without direct wound-care experience may be considered if they possess a relevant clinical background and a strong commitment to developing expertise in wound management Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and ability to practice effectively in an outpatient setting About Fairview Hospital Located in Great Barrington, Fairview Hospital provides high-quality, personalized care to residents of Southern Berkshire County and the surrounding region.
