Hospitalist NP/PA Nocturnist Position/Lowell General Hospital Direct Hire only Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this vital role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, ensuring comprehensive and personalized treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced environment committed to improving health outcomes and enhancing patient experiences. Schedule 7 on 7 off only 7:00 Pm to 7:00 AM Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital sign monitoring, to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, and sterile processing when necessary. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and billing. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide health coaching, triage services, and patient education to promote wellness and disease prevention strategies. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state. Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience performing procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care, and tube feeding management. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure highly preferred. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations like emergency room or trauma settings while maintaining excellent patient care standards. Pay:
$126,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
