Job Summary We are seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes. As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious, advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Responsibilities Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families. Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions. Provide education on best practices. Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations. Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible. Requirements Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License ANNC Board Certification Ability to travel in Massachusetts Excellent communication and documentation abilities Strong patient assessment skills Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic Benefits Competitive salary per annum: $30,000 - $90,000 Paid Time Off Why Work With Us?
