Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job Description A reputable Interventional Spine, Pain, and Joint specialty practice wishes to hire an APP. (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) Here you will work at a couple different clinics, conveniently located near Catonsville and Randallstown. Sorry, we cannot accept new grads for this position. We are procedure focused with spine, joint, and pain care patients. Here you will be working with a Board Certified physician. The support staff is professional and nice. The office strives to be a good team work environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience related to caring for patients with musculoskeletal issues.
• Previous Experience in Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, Neurology, Rheumatology, Spine Medicine, Injury, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is desired
• Experience in caring for patients with chronic conditions
• Medical Spanish speaking skills is nice but not required If hired and you don't have interventional Spine & Pain experience, we will train you.

The practice will teach you to conduct very thorough Musculoskeletal Evaluations , do Trigger Point Injections , Various Joint Injections , prescribe medical braces , Diagnose Spine conditions for spine procedures (which a doctor will do), and when caring for pain patients needing a pain medicine prescription , and you will be taught to follow CDC Prescribing Guidelines .

The work schedule:

• Monday - Friday, days.
• No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays You will typically see 25 or more pts per day. (Of course after you are trained and are comfortable in the position) Lots of 15 minute follow-up visits. You will have the support needed to complete your notes by the end of your shift.
• ALSO the practice uses a scribe to make it easier. Candidate MUST be licensed in Maryland. Candidate MUST have Maryland CDS. Candidate MUST have DEA Registration.
• The schedule is M-F days, with 9-5 hours.
