This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced NP, PA, or CNM who wants to develop a meaningful, long-term patient panel, practice with a high degree of autonomy, and continue expanding their gynecologic expertise within a collaborative physician-led team. Why Join Visionary Women's Health? Practice exclusively in gynecology—without the competing demands of obstetric care Build and manage your own panel of patients with meaningful continuity of care Work in a beautiful, intentionally designed environment created to help patients feel calm and safe Benefit from a capped patient appointment day that allows time for education and thoughtful care Begin each workday with a protected administrative hour from 8:00-9:00 AM Collaborate closely with experienced gynecologists while maintaining clinical independence Expand your procedural skills, including the opportunity to receive training in colposcopy Join a practice recognized for exceptional bedside manner, innovation, and a patient-centered approach Help shape the continued growth and clinical vision of an established women's health organization The Role You will independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of gynecologic concerns while providing preventive care, well-woman examinations, contraceptive counseling, and office-based procedures. The strongest candidate will be clinically confident, efficient, warm, and comfortable taking ownership of patient care from initial evaluation through treatment and follow-up. Although physician collaboration is readily available, this position is best suited for someone who requires minimal day-to-day supervision. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive gynecologic evaluations, physical examinations, and well-woman visits Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions Obtain complete histories and perform pelvic and breast examinations Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Communicate results and treatment recommendations to patients clearly and promptly Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe and monitor medications Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals (required prior experience) Perform appropriate office procedures, including biopsies and colposcopy when trained Provide thorough education regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, prevention, and ongoing care Monitor patient progress and coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members Promote preventive health and help patients make informed decisions about their bodies Contribute ideas, leadership, and clinical insight to the continued growth of the practice Required Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse-Midwife Active Maryland license or eligibility for Maryland licensure Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient gynecology or women's health setting Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate and manage common gynecologic concerns Proficiency with pelvic examinations Experience with IUD insertion and removal Experience with Nexplanon insertion and removal Familiarity with standard gynecologic procedures and diagnostic evaluation Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-education skills Ability to manage a patient panel efficiently and responsibly Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and compassionate care Colposcopy experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided to an otherwise highly qualified candidate. The Qualities We Value Our patients expect more than clinical competence. They expect to be listened to, taken seriously, and treated with patience and dignity. We are seeking someone who demonstrates: A warm, gentle, and compassionate bedside manner A strong sense of responsibility for patients and their outcomes Clinical confidence balanced with openness to continued learning Timely communication and reliable follow-through Emotional intelligence, patience, and professionalism Efficient work habits without sacrificing the patient experience A collaborative, solutions-oriented attitude Genuine enthusiasm for improving women's healthcare If you are an experienced gynecology provider who wants greater clinical ownership, strong physician collaboration, and the opportunity to practice in an environment where exceptional patient care is the standard, we would be delighted to meet you.
