Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of experience to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive primary care, manage diverse patient needs, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to promote optimal health outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across a broad age range, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult populations. Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and patient needs. Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses through ongoing monitoring and patient education. Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, phlebotomy, and basic wound care while adhering to aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers within a team-based approach to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in telehealth consultations to expand access to care and improve patient engagement remotely. Requirements Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management. Demonstrated experience in primary care with knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation. Skilled in performing clinical procedures including suturing, catheterization, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Experience working with various populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Ability to handle acute care situations involving triage, urgent care cases, or emergency room scenarios within hospital or Level I/II trauma center environments. Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to educate patients on health coaching and disease prevention strategies. Pay:
$95,682.89 - $115,231.01 per year
