Organization Summary Integrated Behavioral Health, LLC, provides services to individuals with mental and substance abuse challenges in the Capital Heights, Maryland area. IBH offers an array of behavioral health services to adults and focuses on providing evidence-based treatments and services and innovative ways to support our customers. An interdisciplinary team will provide progressive recovery-based services to adults who have mental illness and are struggling with substance abuse challenges. Preference will be given to bilingual (Spanish/English) person.
JOB DUTIES
The Registered Nurse is responsible for clinical supervision of client treatment within the program.
Responsibilities include:
Complete a diagnostic assessment within 2 days of client admission. Review and update any diagnostic assessment completed within 180 days of client admission or complete a new diagnostic assessment if indicated. Review Individual Treatment Plan within ten days of client intake and updates thereafter. Facilitate monthly team reviews of client progress towards meeting treatment goals and summarize progress by way of documentation. Seek and review client social historical, psychological, psychiatric, and health related information prior to screening interview. Assure that a functional assessment is completed within ten days of client intake and updated at least every three months or prior to discharge from services, whichever comes first. Document discharge planning designed to assist clients in transitioning to independent functioning. Provide individual and group counseling to clients, families and significant others as permitted by the client. Assess and refer clients to other mental and physical health services as indicated. To maintain open and honest communication with the Treatment Team and other staff promoting the concept of teamwork and support. To be responsible for maintaining professional conduct in performance of duties. Maintain Maryland licensure as a Healthcare Professional. Present the program and organization to the public in a positive and supportive manner.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A
registered nurse practioner who is certified as a clinical specialist in physical health care. At least one year of experience working in behavioral health facilities. CPR/First Aid Certification. Supervision This position is supervised by the Medical/Program Director.
