Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your advanced clinical skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education—all while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices. Responsibilities Perform thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine. Conduct procedures including suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, spinal taps, and sterile processing techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system i.e. eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, receptionist—to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and clinical protocols. Provide telehealth consultations leveraging telemedicine platforms to extend care access and improve patient engagement. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification to practice independently or under collaborative agreements. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those in assisted living or nursing home settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with medical documentation and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10). Strong clinical skills including physical examinations and charting. Knowledge of pharmacology for medication administration and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching and treatment options effectively. Familiarity with healthcare laws including HIPAA compliance and workers' compensation law; experience in hospice & palliative medicine or behavioral health is a plus.

$70.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
