Job Description
We're looking for a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Augusta, ME team as the site's Lead Provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced APP who loves delivering high-quality, patient-centered urgent care and enjoys mentoring clinical staff in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence. Serve as the clinical leader on site, guiding workflow, safety, and quality improvements. Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals, acting as a preceptor and clinical resource. Promote evidence-based practice and adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. Help foster a collaborative, efficient team culture focused on outstanding patient outcomes. What we're looking for Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current certification from a recognized NP or PA certifying body. Active Maine license or eligibility for Maine licensure. Unrestricted DEA registration (must obtain/maintain). BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred. Previous leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
