Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Primary Care Locum Tenens Physician to provide outpatient coverage in Bridgeton, NJ. Serve diverse adult and/or pediatric patients, performing routine exams, chronic disease management, acute care visits, and preventive services. Responsibilities include documenting in EMR, coordinating care with clinic staff, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment. Responsibilities Provide primary care services to adult and/or pediatric patients in an outpatient setting Perform routine exams, acute visits, chronic disease management, and preventive care Document encounters accurately in the EMR and maintain thorough medical records Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests; adjust treatment plans accordingly Coordinate care with nurses, specialists, and clinic support staff Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes Collaborate with Alumni Healthcare Staffing and site leadership on scheduling and coverage needs Ensure culturally competent, patient-centered care for a diverse population Participate in handoffs and communication to ensure continuity of care across providers Required Skills Primary care medicine Outpatient clinical practice Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD) Acute care evaluation and treatment Preventive care and health maintenance Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostics Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Patient counseling and education Regulatory and compliance knowledge in clinical settings
