Job Description

Description We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, and providing patient education and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Requirements Full range of medical services from general preventative care to ongoing acute and chronic illness management in a Primary Care environment. The Nurse Practitioner delivers primary health care to patients in a Primary Care setting. Incumbent will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of common and chronic illnesses, planning of periodic health assessments, vaccines, screenings, promoting optimal health and preventative care. Additional responsibilities include community referrals and regulatory compliance documentation. Knowledge of professional medical practice and the ability to give and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of medicine to provide on-going patient care. Skill in taking medical history, assessing medical condition and interpreting findings. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining quality services and quality improvement program. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, school staff, and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly. Current State License to Practice DEA and state controlled substance licenses also required (as applicable).
