Full Job Description Assessment:
Recording health histories and symptoms, performing physical exams, and observing patients
Diagnosis:
Identifying problems and diagnosing acute and chronic conditions
Treatment:
Developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications and other treatments, and managing patients' overall care
Monitoring:
Evaluating a patient's response to treatments and analyzing test results
Education:
Counseling patients and educating them on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
Referral:
Referring patients to other health professionals as needed
