This opportunity offers a collaborative inpatient environment within a Level I Trauma Center, caring for critically ill and premature newborns alongside an experienced neonatology team. The ideal candidate will have recent neonatal experience and be comfortable managing NICU patients in a high-acuity setting.

Epic Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level
III NICU
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill and premature newborns Participate in daily rounding and multidisciplinary care planning Manage admissions, consultations, and discharges within the NICU Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and ancillary services Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Average of 10-12 patients per APP per day Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Active Michigan license required Neonatal experience required Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Experience working in a Level II, III, or IV NICU preferred Strong clinical assessment and neonatal critical care skills
