Job Description
Join a team that values clinical autonomy and compassionate, patient-centered care in skilled nursing facilities across Mount Pleasant, MI. You'll spend your time providing hands-on assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions (including wound care), and partnering with facility staff to improve outcomes for residents in a flexible, part-time role. What you'll do Visit facilities and perform thorough on-site patient rounds and assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical issues, with an emphasis on wound evaluation and treatment. Prescribe medications and create individualized care plans. Triage and address urgent clinical concerns as they arise. Communicate clearly and promptly with facility nursing teams by phone or secure messaging. Keep accurate, timely documentation using a company-provided iPad with LTE. Maintain dependable on-site presence and follow clinical, facility, and regulatory standards. Schedule & work setting Part-time position with flexible scheduling to fit your life. Typical facility shifts are about 6 hours, with rounds usually starting between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. No overnight or on-call responsibilities. Mobile charting supported by a company iPad with LTE.
