Job DescriptionManage ICU admissions and conduct comprehensive patient assessments in a fast-paced critical care environmentDiagnose and treat critically ill patients as a first-line provider alongside intensivist physiciansPerform critical care documentation and maintain accurate, timely clinical recordsExecute bedside procedures within your scope of practice and credentials, including central line placements and other critical care interventionsCollaborate with physicians, consultants, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomesProvide patient and family education and care coordinationEnsure safe, efficient delivery of ICU-level inpatient careQualificationsCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Michigan (or proof of application)National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained after hire)DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA) or DEA registration (NP) through credentialing3+ years of ICU experience as an Advanced Practice ProviderCentral line placement experience

•Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (CCNE or NLNAC) or Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)
