  • Pain Management (NP/PA) Wook Kim MD PC Southfield, MI Job Details Part-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with chronic pain Pain medicine Pain management experience Clinic experience Diagnostic radiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Advanced practice provider Physician Assistant License Full Job Description Under the Supervising Physician, evaluate and treat patients in a pain management setting.
Responsibilities to include:
  • Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.
  • Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination
  • Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections  Prescribe therapy or medication.
  • Follow defined GFHC "Mid-Level Practice Guidelines" as defined by Policy #3.0.  Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
