Job Description
Join a busy Level I adult trauma center (pediatric patients also cared for) in Robbinsdale, MN, as a locums Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role suits an experienced APP who enjoys high-acuity work, functions independently as a trauma hospitalist rounder, and is comfortable managing a wide range of clinical responsibilities. Compensation $125 per hour Schedule & coverage 10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) In-house coverage only; no additional call What you'll be doing Serve primarily as a trauma hospitalist rounder, providing comprehensive daily management for admitted patients Respond to ED trauma alerts and provide intermittent ED consults and trauma activations Perform procedures as needed and document all care in Epic Manage ER admissions, coordinate safe and timely discharges, and work closely with trauma surgeons, ICU teams, nursing, and ancillary services Participate in guideline-based care and required non-clinical tracking For experienced APPs, opportunities exist to take on trauma critical care responsibilities Typical patient volume
