Key Position Details:
Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join the practice based in our Shakopee & Edina clinics.
Principle Responsibilities:
Completes comprehensive patient assessments
Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness
Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician
Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment
Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree
- Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Preferred Qualifications:
graduates may be considered. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology or
ICU Licenses/Certifications:
Master's degree completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required
Certification as a Physician Assistant
- NCCPA
- National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC)
- American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire
Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP candidates)
Active
MN & WI NP/PA
license (or ability to obtain).
BLS certification required with in 180 days of hire.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.

Pay Range Pay Range:
$56.48 to $78.15 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
