You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction and protocols of our physicians, dealing with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement to help them reach their skin care goals. Seeking the opportunity to help expand and advance the long term success of the practice. Responsibilities Perform skin exams and problem-focused dermatological exams Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions Issue appropriate treatments and prescriptions to manage dermatologic conditions Order and analyze laboratory results Perform routine in-clinic procedures and treatments including, but not limited to; punch and shave biopsies, elliptical excisions, electrodessication and curettage, cryosurgery, photodynamic therapy, incision and drainage, patch testing, laser treatments, and Botox for hyperhidrosis Manage isotretinoin patients in accordance with the iPledge Program Manage patients on biologic therapies Maintain proper documentation using our electronic medical records system Support the physicians' work, and assist in Clinic project developments as needed Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards Collaborate effectively with team members of various departments Skills Previous dermatology experience through work or clinical rotations required Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Proficiency in clinical and procedural skills with the ability to effectively manage complex patients Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to provide empathetic, kind and compassionate care Team player with good communication skills Trained and proficient in EMR documentation Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
