Job Description

Provide patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Columbia, Missouri. Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care in a part-time role with flexible scheduling and no call or overnight duties. Key responsibilities Perform daily rounds and manage acute and chronic conditions Assess patients, prescribe medications, and develop/update treatment plans Coordinate care with facility staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams Document encounters and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement and care planning activities Schedule and clinical volume Part-time; six-hour facility shifts Typical rounds start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. No call or overnight responsibilities Average 15-20 patient visits per day Compensation and benefits Competitive compensation with above-industry earning potential Long-term retention incentive up to $50,000 Performance-based bonus program Paid time off 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision for eligible providers Employer-paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided iPad with LTE and professional lab coat Minimum qualifications Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license NP board certification: ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN, or PA certification: NCCPA Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
