Job Description

Nurse Practitioner Traditional & Functional Medicine Looking for a Nurse Practitioner to split time between traditional and functional medicine. Opportunity to transition into full time functional medicine as practice grows. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and monitor individualized functional medicine treatment plans and protocols Collaborate with the clinical team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care Research and assist in developing new functional and integrative medicine protocols and patient education tools Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, review laboratory and diagnostic results, and formulate appropriate treatment plans Manage patient follow-ups and coordinate laboratory testing, diagnostics, referrals, and timely follow-up care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and laboratory findings Document patient encounters and maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date EMR records Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner 3+ years of clinical experience in traditional primary care; functional, integrative, or holistic medicine experience helpful but not required Self-starter with strong organizational and process-oriented skills Strong interest in functional, holistic, or integrative medicine Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-informed care Teachable What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for continued education and professional development in functional and integrative medicine Supportive and wellness-focused team environment Flexible and patient-centered approach to care Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off
