Job Description
Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) - Medical Disability Examiner Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), partners with licensed medical providers to conduct medical disability examinations for U.S. Veterans. The Judge Group is seeking Physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to serve as independent contractors performing general medical disability exams. Role Overview Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for Veterans. Review medical/military records, conduct structured interviews, and perform limited physical assessments (e.g., ROM, muscle strength). Provide objective medical opinions related to service connection. No treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient care. QualificationsPhysicians (MD/DO) Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine. Active, unrestricted state license. 2+ years of experience preferred. Nurse Practitioners Master's Degree in Nursing. Active, unrestricted state license. Board certification (ANCC/AANP). Collaborating physician agreement (if required by state). 2+ years NP experience (5+ preferred). Physician Assistants Bachelor's Degree. Active, unrestricted state license. NCCPA certification. Collaborating physician agreement. 2+ years PA experience (5+ preferred). Job Highlights Open to providers in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, or general medicine.
