Medical Disability Examiner The Judge Group is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners (NP) , and Physician Assistants (PA) to join our provider network. In this role, you will work as an independent contractor conducting medical disability examinations for retired military veterans.

No treatment plans, no ongoing patient care, and no medication prescriptions.

Comprehensive training provided by the VA/VES (certification remains valid for 5 years).

Role Responsibilities Complete DBQs:

Administer and fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) for veterans.

Review Records:

Analyze medical and military histories to gather clinical evidence.

Conduct Exams:

Perform face-to-face examinations consisting primarily of interviews and light physical assessments (e.g., range of motion and muscle strength testing).

Formulate Opinions:

Synthesize diagnostic data to determine if a veteran's medical condition is service-related.

Candidate Requirements:

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active, unrestricted NP license in the state of practice. Board certification from the ANCC or AANP. Valid collaborating or supervising physician agreement (where applicable). 2+ years of experience as an NP required (5+ years preferred). Physician Assistant (PA) Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited PA program. Active, unrestricted PA license in the state of practice. Board certification from the NCCPA. Valid collaborating or supervising physician agreement. 2+ years of experience as a PA required (5+ years preferred).
