Job Description
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
(FNP-C) Republic, Missouri | Full-Time RiverBranch Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing independent practice. We are looking for a provider who values relationship-based, patient-centered care and is comfortable contributing to both excellent clinical care and the continued growth of the practice. Position Responsibilities- Provide high-quality primary, preventive, acute, and chronic patient care within scope of practice.
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, prescribe, educate, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
- Order and review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing and ensure appropriate follow-up of results.
- Manage medication refills, patient telephone calls, portal messages, referrals, and other clinical follow-up.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical record documentation and appropriate coding.
- Provide reasonable clinical cross-coverage for colleagues during planned or unplanned absences.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support continuity of care and an excellent patient experience. Practice & Community Expectations

- Participate in practice meetings, quality initiatives, training, and operational activities.
- Participate reasonably in community outreach, networking, educational presentations, health events, marketing, promotions, and practice-growth activities.
- Represent RiverBranch Healthcare professionally with patients, colleagues, businesses, community partners, and the public. Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license and all Missouri APRN/Nurse Practitioner licensure, recognition, or authorization required for the position.
- Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or equivalent certification acceptable for the role).
- Active DEA registration and required prescribing/controlled-substance credentials applicable to assigned duties.
- Current BLS certification and ability to satisfy applicable credentialing requirements.
- All licenses, certifications, registrations, and prescribing privileges must remain current, unrestricted, and in good standing throughout employment.
- Must remain fit to practice and free from impairment while performing job duties, and must disclose legal, licensing, regulatory, or professional matters that could materially affect the ability or authorization to practice.
