Job Description
Provides professional nursing care to clients of University Health Center in an advanced practice role consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and the Code of State Regulations-General Rules governing Advanced Practice Nursing in the State of Missouri. Delivers primary, acute, preventive, sexual, and reproductive health care services in a college health setting. Services include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, health education, contraception counseling, family planning, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, pregnancy testing and options counseling, and appropriate follow-up or referral as indicated. Ensures that care is provided in a confidential, supportive, inclusive, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental manner. Serves as clinical preceptor for Advanced Practice Nurses as requested. Serves as a member of the clinical leadership team, performing administrative duties as requested. Delivers Advanced Practice Clinical Care in a College Health Setting - 90% Provides professional nursing care to clients of University Health Center in an advanced practice role consistent with The Missouri Nurse Practice Act and the Code of State Regulations-General Rules governing Advanced Practice Nursing, in the State of Missouri.
