Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment across assigned specialty or primary care setting. Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and adjust treatment accordingly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care. Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR/EHR and maintain regulatory compliance. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and clinical protocols. Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to a culture of clinical innovation. Support Mercy's mission of compassionate, patient-centered care and community health outreach.
