Job Summary We are seeking a charismatic and motivating Nurse Practitioner to join our Starkville Whole Body Team! Must have the heart of a teacher and coach to improve patient outcomes through assessments, personalized treatment plans, and collaborative care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your passion for patients and impact every level of their lives! Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient assessments, physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines. Administer medications and injections accurately. Laboratory specimen collection and processing Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties as related to patient's wellness and weight-loss journey. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as Dr. Chrono, to document patient encounters thoroughly and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation for legal and billing purposes using CPT coding and ICD coding standards. Have and maintain an active RN and APRN license.
