Job Description

This position will be responsible for our walk-in Orthopaedic Urgent Care clinic. Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, as well as non-operative treatment relative to each patient's specific need.
  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations in the clinic, as well as follow up non-surgical and surgical patients.
  • Triage and handling of patient related clinical questions and concerns.
  • Updates treatment plan and re-evaluates patients as needed to ensure optimal outcome
  • Records patients' treatment, response, and progress.
  • Complete clinical and administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile medications and implement discharge/treatment plans for surgical patients.
  • Develop relationships with referring physicians and outside facilities.
  • Conducts self-in-a-manner reflecting credit on the company and encourages others to do the same.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient and organization information and follows HIPAA regulations.
  • Adheres to facility and Group policies and protocols.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a customer service, efficient, team-oriented manner.
  • Performs other duties as requested/assigned.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program
    Certifications and Licensure:
    o Current National Board Certification (required). o CPR and BLS Certification. ACLS Certification (preferred). o Current
    MS PA/RN/NP
    licensure (preferred) or has applied. Other
