Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal Closer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and be proficient with Qualia or similar real estate closing software. They need someone who is proactive, organized, and personable.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and process all closing documents, including ALTA/CD settlement statements, deeds, and lender packages. Coordinate all aspects of closings with clients, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams. Order and analyze title commitments, surveys, payoffs, and insurance to ensure clear title and readiness to close. Manage the closing timeline, proactively resolving any issues that could delay completion. Maintain clear and timely communication with all parties involved in the transaction. Ensure timely disbursement of funds and proper execution and recording of documents. Support post-closing tasks such as issuing title policies, file reconciliation, and document follow-up.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings, ideally within a law firm or title company. Strong understanding of closing procedures, title documentation, and real estate legal processes. Proficiency in Qualia or similar closing platforms (SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare, etc.). Knowledge of lender-specific closing requirements. Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and resolve minor title issues. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-first attitude. A positive, professional personality with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
